DZ / Class 3 Driver

Job Title: DZ/Class 3 Driver (Airbrake Endorsement)
Location: St. John's and Surrounding Areas
Schedule: Tuesdays to Thursdays, 7:00 AM Start Time
Rate of Pay: $25 per hour

Advantage Personnel is currently hiring a DZ/Class 3 Driver with an airbrake endorsement for immediate start. This role is ideal for a safety-conscious, customer-focused individual who is looking to join a reliable team in the waste management industry.

Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and courteous collection and transportation of residential waste and recyclables. Routes include curbside and backdoor pickups, with delivery to post-collection facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform residential curbside recycling pickup and transportation.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond to client needs promptly.
• Complete all duties in accordance with company policies and contractual obligations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
• Complete daily routes assigned by Route Supervisors.
• Participate in end-of-day check-ins and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Route Supervisors.

Requirements:

• Valid DZ/Class 3 license with airbrake endorsement.
• Roll-off truck experience is an asset.
• Clean Driver's Abstract.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
