As part of the Service Transformation team, the Senior Consultant, will play a key role in leading the delivery of IT and operational deliverables on complex projects with our Bell Business Markets clients.

The Senior Consultant will leverage the operational solution scope of work as prepared by the teams during contract negotiations to guide and refine the implementation strategy. The Senior Consultant will be responsible in ensuring that all internal and external operational requirements are taken into account during final solution development and its delivery.

The Senior Consultant will work closely with the business analysts and experts that represent the different business units impacted by the projects, as well as with the project management team to prioritize the deliverables and their statuses.

The Senior Consultant will be called upon to work with different teams on projects, including experts, executives and clients and as such will need to be able to adapt the communication strategies accordingly.

Roles and Responsibilites
  • Establish and validate the technical and operation requirements for each assigned project, including modifications to corporate systems, new reports, customer experience and IT solutions
  • Collaborate with the business units to confirm their deliverables, their sequencing and timeframe, alongside the project management team
  • Participate in the various working sessions that may include the participation of external clients
  • Follow the delivery of the IT and operational deliverables and facilitate the resolution of roadblocks
  • Integrate and document cross-business unit processes
  • Contribute in the creation and execution of test plans as required
  • Contribute to change management activities during the project transfer to operational teams
Critical Qualifications/Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5 years' experience developing/maintaining Business/Domain Architecture; experience in analysis or strategic planning of activities
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
  • Knowledge and experience in domains such as service provisioning, customer service, service assurance, workforce management, change management, billing, reporting, process automation, monitoring tools, service levels and security
  • The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and work flow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery
  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Knowledge and certifications on TM Forum (eTom), ITIL and/or TOGAF is an asset
