This position meets the criteria for a probationary/permanent contract.

Successful Term Rehire Teachers who are fully qualified will be issued a probationary/permanent contract and will become a permanent member of the school's teacher complement. Teachers should only apply for these positions if they are prepared to accept a probationary/permanent contract.

Candidates must be fully qualified as per attached job description.

Candidates must upload transcripts confirming Additional Qualifications (AQ) and/or relevant Master's coursework to their online resume at time of application. Candidates completing a relevant Master's program prior to August 31st must upload a letter from the university confirming program completion.

Consideration may be given to applicants who are partially qualified either through commencement of a relevant Masters program or completion of all or some of the HRCE Student Services workshops. A letter from the university confirming program enrollment must be uploaded with your online resume at the time of application.

A Term II, Aggregate or Equity term teacher participating in TPP may be awarded a Learning Centre position if they are not fully qualified per the above, but the teacher MUST meet the following conditions:

  • Has at least 1 year of Learning Centre experience within the last 3 years; AND
  • Has either:
    • completed the HRCE Student Services modules (for which they received a certificate of completion); OR
    • completed at least 1 course toward a qualifying Masters.
  • Has uploaded either the certificate of completion of the HRCE Student Services modules OR their transcript confirming the course taken toward a qualifying Masters to their resume on Careers.

Please note that a Term II, Aggregate or Equity term teacher participating in TPP who is not fully qualified and is awarded a Learning Centre position marked as PERM ELIGIBLE will only be awarded that position on a one-year basis.
