Title: AZ Truck Driver

Pay: $27.00/hr

Shifts: 6:00 AM Start

Run: Ottawa to Kingston

We're actively sourcing AZ Drivers for deliveries within Ottawa to Kingston for a large food distributing logistics company based in Ottawa, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping detailed records of your deliveries and will communicate with dispatch daily. With almost a century in operation, this client has formed many strong business relationships within the food service industry.

Responsibilities:

• Pre/post-trip inspections
• Accurate E-Log reporting
• Safe operation of Truck and Trailer while following all MOT/DOT rules and regulations
• Reporting all maintenance requirements to dispatch or supervisor
• Follow all guidelines that are established in the facilities manual
• Follow all safety rules as outlined by company policies and manuals
• Transporting and delivering items to businesses in a safe, timely manner
• Reviewing instructions and pickup orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied

Requirements:

• Valid AZ License
• 2 years of verifiable AZ Driving experience
• Abstract and CVOR printed within the last 30 days of application
• Criminal Record search may be required as part of the onboarding process
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
