| The Quality Assurance Functional Manager is tasked with coordinating and/or executing testing for various projects or releases, whether working within Agile or Waterfall software development teams. This role requires the Quality Assurance Functional Manager to actively collaborate with the project team and work alongside the Senior Manager to achieve project goals. The incumbent must adhere to quality assurance and testing practices, providing services such as test design, test execution, defect tracking, and QA progress monitoring. Additionally, this position may involve managing team members, necessitating strong leadership skills and the ability to support and guide them in their daily tasks. The role breakdown will be: 20% Analysis and Design of Test Strategy, 15% Test Execution and coordination (Automated (selenium tool) and Manual), 65% managing the team and the ability to handle and solve reported issues for other team members (external to QAT). |

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- 5+ years of software testing experience, preferably on banking/financial applications
- Strong knowledge of SDLC – Waterfall and Agile. Experience working in waterfall and agile teams in a QA function
- Extensive understanding of code management, server and applications layering, environment configuration and databases
- Basic Coding experience on at least one scripting/programming language. Clear coding basics and ability to work with databases. Knowledge on SQL and ability to write simple to medium complexity Queries
- Initiate and perform software fault source diagnosis
- Strong working knowledge of PCs and department-related software
- Ability to use automated drivers for project testing; able to appropriately assess their value to a particular release and employ them accordingly
- Well-developed leadership ability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Superior analytical skills
- High attitude to handle reported issues and provide solutions
- Detail-oriented approach to project testing
