POSITION: Community Programming Facilitator
QUALIFICATIONS: Our organization is seeking individuals with a degree in Social Work, Community Studies, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field, along with experience facilitating group programming and working in the area of violence prevention and community wellness. This is a full-time, one year contract position.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Reporting to the Coordinator of Community Programming, the Community Programming Facilitator will support the delivery of programming under the Preventing and Repairing Harm Caused by Gender-Based Violence (GBV) initiative. This role involves facilitating group programs, coordinating educational sessions, and building connections to community-based supports in both rural and urban communities.
Persons considered for this position must have a clear police background check, a clear child abuse registry check, and a valid driver's license. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority (all applicants should indicate their status as a Canadian citizen or permanent resident).
