We are currently looking for a Field Technician to join our Precast Division. Reporting directly to the VP Business Development, the Field Technician will provide a high level of service and customer understanding. Always working safely in high pressure construction environments, providing solutions and technical support, while exercising best practices for the use and installation of Precast products and services.

As a Field Technician, your insights and role as a key company representative in all stages of the manufacturing and construction process of our products will mean that you will be an invaluable contributing member of the divisional team. The position will require a physical hands-on approach, extensive product knowledge, continuous problem solving, and solutions provider to the market.

• Ability to read and interpret project drawings, shop drawings, civil site plans
• Ability to take accurate measurements, set grades, determine setting distances and product clearances
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor environment, most often on construction job sites
• Previous hands-on construction experience is an asset
• Travel to various work sites, as required
• Overtime, as required
• Fall arrest and rigging training considered an asset; will be provided otherwise
• Some experience, especially in the fields of concrete and/or the heavy civil construction industry considered an asset.
• A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (CET) or equivalent may be considered an asset
