Atlantic Lottery (AL) is seeking a Test Automation Specialist located in Moncton, NB.
As the Test Automation Specialist, reporting to the Manager, Analysis and Quality, you will be responsible for the continual development and maintenance of a suite of automated test scripts that will realize the benefits of cost savings, speed to market and increased quality. You will work closely with project teams to analyze new functionality being introduced, determine business priorities and design reusable automated tests that can be used for smoke testing, functional validation, and performance testing.
This role will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to alerts generated by automated scripts as well as capturing metrics and reporting against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
To be considered for this position, candidates must be residing in Atlantic Canada.

- Assess new functionality introduced via corporate initiatives to determine the scope of automation required as well as any impacts to existing automated test scripts.
- Provide estimates for test automation work required in support of corporate projects.
- Responsible for work distribution and oversight of test automation development efforts.
- Responsible for maintaining the existing automated test bed.
- Responsible for monitoring and responding to alerts generated by automated tests.
- Train new employees on test automation processes and tools.
- Measure and report on test automation KPIs.
- Investigate and evaluate new techniques and tools for the continuous improvement of test automation processes and methodologies.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in the development and deployment of test automation strategies.
- Understanding of, and experience with using, different automation frameworks and tools.
- Solid knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science is preferred.
- Must be 19 years of age or older to apply.
