THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for Visitation Coordinator/Screener at our Casa Mia care home to help our residents meet with the family in a safe and timely manner.
Shifts: Monday to Friday - 11am - 7pm
What does a Visitation Coordinator do?
- Screening visitors (measure temperature, provide questionnaire, make sure they are wearing masks)
- Transport residents to/from the visitor's location (outdoor patio or room)
- Cleaning, sanitizing after the visit (wiping and sanitizing surfaces
- Rapid Testing
Qualification:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Experience working with seniors as an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical ability to transport residents
- Proof of Vaccination

Casa Mia offers 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views. This estate home features three stories with a grand dining area, ballroom, recreation areas and large outdoor patios on each floor. Casa Mia provides our residents with a heritage estates setting and modern best practice care. Casa Mia works in partnership with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.
