The Position:

Summit Search Grouphas been retained by our North American client on the recruitment of their newly created Director, Accounts. Our client is a leader in delivering innovative marketing and creative services across North America. They are a team of dedicated professionals committed to helping their clients achieve business goals through strategic solutions tailored to their unique needs. Our clients remote setup allows them to collaborate seamlessly with clients and team members, ensuring that results can be delivered no matter where they are located.

The Director, Accounts will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our clients account management process, with a focus on retention and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Account Executives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow existing accounts, working closely with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the main point of contact for account-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to identify opportunities for product enhancements based on client feedback.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics related to account performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in account management, sharing insights with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in an Account Executive/Manager role. Preference to those with leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of driving account retention and growth in a B2B Environment.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales role, preferably selling a service-based product with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies and drive business growth.
