As the Director of Commercial Marketing, you will play a key role in driving our commercial business growth by leading strategic marketing initiatives to acquire and retain Local Commercial customers, create the annual Local Commercial Marketing plan, oversee commercial customer relationship management (CRM), database management, and marketing automation. This role requires a seasoned marketing professional with a strong background in commercial or B2B marketing, exceptional leadership skills, and expertise in leveraging technology for marketing effectiveness.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth through targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives aimed at commercial customers.
  • Plan, execute, and measure commercial marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, email, events, and other relevant mediums.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts with sales and operations.
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of commercial marketing campaigns
  • Lead the development and implementation of CRM strategies to enhance customer relationships, customer segmentation, and personalized communication.
  • Oversee the maintenance and utilization of the commercial customer database for effective marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize marketing automation platforms to streamline processes, nurture leads, and improve overall marketing efficiency.
  • Implement and refine automated workflows for lead scoring, segmentation, and personalized communication.
  • Provide guidance on web leadership strategies to enhance the online presence and user experience.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Report on key performance indicators related to commercial marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the commercial marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
  • Implement content strategy initiatives to create engaging and informative content for the target B2B audience
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 9-10 years Commercial or B2B Marketing experience (within a franchise environment an asset)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred
  • Previously accountable for managing, administering, and controlling assets, revenue, expenditures, and/or other affairs of the organization
  • Proven people leadership expertise

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Salary $130-155k per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
