Salary:

The Toronto Blue Jays Ticketing Team prioritizes a collaborative, inclusive culture, where learning is continuous, and each team member is empowered to achieve goals and objectives. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Membership & Group Sales, the successful candidate will lead and cultivate a high-performance sales culture and create organized, yearlong, innovative sales campaigns while stimulating organizational growth and development through on-going sales training and lead conversion optimization.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead sales team with focus on generating new Membership sales (Full Season, Quarter Season and Ticket Packs)
  • Develop effective sales strategies and campaigns that help achieve targets and objectives
  • Lead team in actively pursuing sales opportunities through creative sales techniques and generating net new prospects
  • Assist in developing strategic product, benefit and pricing plans
  • Implement and maintain plan for sales team use of Salesforce CRM; creating a strategy to manage sales pipelines, produce regular sales and forecasting reports and updates on sales campaigns
  • Develop and utilize sophisticated training programs and performance management systems for sales team
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to implement new ticketing technologies, such as lead qualifying tools and lead scoring models
  • Develop a high-performing sales culture with emphasis on achieving results in a team first, collaborative environment
  • Create and sustain reporting metrics that create accountability and benchmarks for sales representatives to succeed
  • Collaborate with Strategy & Analytics department to optimize lead qualification, effective target-setting, and pricing strategies
  • Support the Assistant Manager, Membership Sales in the leadership of team members in the Sales & Service Development Program

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of success in sales and/or service, preferably in the sports industry
  • Great business knowledge with a clear understanding of Blue Jays products and services
  • A strong commitment to people development
  • Willingness to coach and be coached, with an appetite to learn and get better every day
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours (select evenings, weekends)
