About the Opportunity

UJA is seeking an organized and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing department. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Strategy, the Marketing Coordinator will assist with project development and execution, playing a key role as an operational member of the marketing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all marketing projects are maintained and deployed at a consistent level
  • Recording all details and deadlines within Wrike (our project management tool) and proactively following up with internal stakeholders including, Designers, Writers and Digital team members to collect missing details on time
  • Gathering and organizing all required assets
  • Coordinate asset delivery and approvals with internal and external partners
  • Conduct rigorous follow-up to stay on the critical path, ensuring communication of project status to all key stakeholders on a regular established basis
  • Coordinate and schedule brief-in meetings, brainstorms, and creative presentations
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years' relevant work experience
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Operational experience in driving campaigns across multiple channels with a focus on email, social posts, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues
  • Proactive with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effectively presents work, and collects and communicates feedback
  • Approaches creative with enthusiasm and passionate about creative excellence
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Wrike is considered an asset

* This is a full-time permanent role, union level C. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule, and all of our employees engage in hybrid work.
