We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelines and platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams including data analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. You will also be instrumental in building out our data governance practices, including controlling, monitoring, and reporting on data access, all within a zero-trust security model.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide them with high-quality data solutions.
  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying data pipelines using various tools and technologies, such as Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
  • Implement governance policies that support business objectives while maintaining data security and compliance.
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and availability across all data sources and platforms
  • Researching and evaluating new data technologies and trends to improve our data capabilities and innovation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and practices, with experience in implementing data control, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and other programming languages and frameworks for data engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
