We are seeking a senior full stack java developer with strong experience working in financial services. This role requires a deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment and will play a crucial role in enhancing and expanding our existing lending platform.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop new features that deliver true business value.
• Gain a deep understanding of business needs and models, ensuring solutions align with organizational objectives.
• Leverage the existing platform technology stack to create end-to-end solutions, covering both front-end and back-end development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, architect, and implement software features ensuring high-quality coding standards, and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct regular maintenance activities to enhance system performance and address technical debt.
• Lead the architecture and design decisions, balancing short-term goals with long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and encourage knowledge sharing within the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of relevant full-time software engineering experience
• BS degree or equivalent experience a Computer Science field.
• Proficiency in full stack technologies including Java, JOOQ, GRPC, Spring, JavaScript, Vue.js and Nuxt.js, and Vaadin
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server.
• Experience and thorough understanding of automated test systems as used in CI/CD such as Jenkins
• Fluent in English & Spanish (Written and Spoken)
