Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Estimator to join our team. You will be part of an innovative and supportive work environment, providing leadership and support across our diverse range of projects. Your responsibilities will include planning, delivery, and evaluation of various initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for our modular construction projects, including material, labor, and equipment, etc.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to develop project strategies, devise the project plan, and monitor the project's progress.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the project scope.
  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Provide clear and detailed quantity take-offs.
  • Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, clients, and project teams.
  • Monitor and report on any potential risks or issues, and provide suitable mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all project work complies with industry and company safety standards, procedures, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, ideally in the modular construction sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, collaborative software, and estimating software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills.
