THE ROLE
As an industrial spray painter, you will be working in a manufacturing plant, painting steel parts. This is a great permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys spray painting and assembly work. You will be working in a team environment on the day shift. This is a growing company that is very busy right now. This position is located in Burlington for a medium size manufacturing plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Paint a variety of manufactured products
- Prepare and clean surfaces before applying to paint application
- Select the appropriate paint type and/or mix paints to achieve the desired colour, consistency and drying properties
- Operates spray equipment
- Perform paint touch-up/repair work as required
- Perform final inspections
- Maintain painting equipment, paint ventilation units, compressed air and personal protection equipment
- Apply prepared decals to the product once the painting is completed
- Assemble manufactured products such as cranes, jibs and other components.
- Interpret Daily Production schedule for raw materials with Shop Forman.
- Utilize crane, forklift, racking or other material moving and/or storage equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner.
- Housekeeping duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of industrial spray painting experience
- Maintain stock and report requirements on product.
- General maintenance of paint equipment and cleaning as required.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Excellent work ethic with a focused pride of workmanship
