The Junior Accountant ensures delivery on our client's brand promise of meeting and exceeding client expectation of time, quality, budget and relationship. What you will be doing:

• Be an advocate for the client, ensuring the company delivers on its brand promise
• Accounts Payable – Ensure that payables are processed and paid based on payment terms and that job costs are entered and kept up to date for all entities
• Payroll – Prepare and process accurate and timely payroll
• Bank Accounts – Analyze and reconcile bank accounts and general ledger
• GST – Prepare and file accurate monthly
• Practice proactive, diplomatic and professional communication with suppliers, sub trades, coordinated professionals, company's team and customers; bring any concerns or conflicts to the attention of the management team
• Perform other duties as assigned/required for the role.

What you must have:

• 2 years' experience as a junior accountant or accounting assistant
• High data entry accuracy and speed
• Construction or Development industry experience is an asset
• Bachelor's degree is an asset
• Must value continuous learning, being self-motivated, creative, and getting things done
• Must be someone who is looking to be part of a team that feels like family
