Overview:Our client has implemented a program program for the provision of workplace services and related technology to the BC Health Organizations. The objective of the program is to enhance the capability of the Health Authorities to leverage technology (desktop and managed support services) to systemically improve health services across the province of BC.
What you will be doing:
  • Develop and implement an appropriate risk management program in support of the early identification and effective management of risks.
  • Lead and complete a risk assessment and develop mitigation plans to mitigate, eliminate or reduce risk to an acceptable level.
  • Lead activities related to the mitigation, planning, control, review and reporting of risk, develop a continuous risk management process.
  • Establish a results-oriented accountability framework to optimize performance in accordance with completed risk assessment.
  • Define and document an escalation process including criteria and decision matrix for multiple levels of governance.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
What you need to have:
  • Prior experience managing IT/infrastructure and/or clinical/healthcare projects.
  • Experience leading and facilitation of risk identification sessions using various risk assessment tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Project Management principals, methodologies and risk management practices/trends.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management and associated activities
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders across multiple organizations to gather complex information and make sound recommendations for risk management
  • Ability to balance the relationship of risk and opportunity to support objectives in consideration of risk management.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively monitor and execute project plans with stringent timelines.
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Relationship building at all levels (i.e. end-users to C-level).
  • Senior-level ability to translate process and technical problems using business terms.
  • Senior-level documentation and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of how to interpret customer business and clinical needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong report writing skills, including business and technical report writing.
