Our esteemed client, a leading General Contractor, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Finishing Superintendent to join their dynamic team on Bowen Island. Position: Finishing Superintendent
Location: Bowen Island, with a preference for daily commuting. However, accommodation options on the island may be considered based on the salary package.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Vehicle Allowance: A generous vehicle allowance will be provided, recognizing the importance of mobility and flexibility in fulfilling the job's requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the finishing phase of construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing schedules, materials, and workforce to meet project deadlines.
- Conducting inspections and quality control measures to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Addressing and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with all levels of the construction team and external stakeholders.
