Finishing Superintendent

Our client, a leading general contractor, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled finishing superintendent to join their dynamic team on a project on Bowen Island. This is a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the successful completion of our client's projects, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage.

Position: Finishing Superintendent

Location: Bowen Island project till July then onto a project in Vancouver with the same GC

Salary: $110,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications + Benefits

Vehicle Allowance: A generous vehicle allowance will be provided, recognizing the importance of mobility and flexibility in fulfilling the job's requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the finishing phase of construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
• Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing schedules, materials, and workforce to meet project deadlines.
• Conducting inspections and quality control measures to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Addressing and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Finishing Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with all levels of the construction team and external stakeholders.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
