Pocketed is hiring an Account Manager to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a recent university graduate or experienced Account Manager looking for an opportunity with a high-growth company.

As an Account Manager, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and building long-term relationships with customers. You will be responsible for managing the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, and ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and support throughout their journey with the company. Ultimately, your goal will be to maximize customer satisfaction and retention, while also achieving your sales targets and contributing to Pocketed's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing a deep understanding of Pocketed's products and services, as well as the needs and pain points of potential B2B customers.
  2. Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and current B2B customers.
  3. Generating leads through various channels, such as email marketing, social media, and cold calling.
  4. Conducting product demos and presentations to potential customers.
  5. Negotiating pricing and contracts with customers.
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams within Pocketed, such as marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure that customer needs are met.
  7. Managing and tracking sales activity using Pocketed's CRM system and other sales tools.
  8. Analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  9. Creating and delivering regular reports on sales performance and customer feedback to Pocketed leadership.
  10. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape, and using that knowledge to inform sales strategy and tactics.

Your Qualifications:

You're relentlessly solution-focused, dedicated to solving complex problems. You love to iterate and experiment. The pace, energy, and uncertainty of startup get you excited!

  • Experience in sales, preferably in the software industry or a related field
  • Excellent communication and people skills to build strong customer relationships
  • Knowledge of software products and industry trends
  • The ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • A self-starter attitude to work independently and pursue opportunities
  • Passion for achieving sales targets and contributing to the company's success
  • Passion for helping entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed
  • Familiarity with grant funding and tax credits is a plus

Your Benefits:

In this role you will work closely with a tight-knit founding team to rapidly design and build new generation solutions to real-world problems. As part of our growth team, you will have the full support of our CEO, Head of Growth, growth team, and our entire technical team.
