Job Description

Mission

The Senior Director – Earth and Environment will develop and lead CIMA+'s environmental and geotechnical practice in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This position is seen as an integral part in the development and growth of CIMA+ in the GTA and our Ontario Leadership Team. The Earth and Environment services will support each of CIMA+'s four key sectors (Energy and Resources, Transportation, Infrastructure and Buildings) and also develop its own sustainable external client base. The position will be supported by the existing Environment team located outside the GTA.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Develop and lead our Earth and Environment business and team in the GTA.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic growth plan for the Earth and Environment sector in the GTA that also supports the CIMA+ growth plan in the core sectors.
  • Develop client relationships, develop leads, and secure contracts to achieve business objectives, sales goals, and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in the preparation of proposals within the GTA, participating in the review of bid and pricing strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering or a degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the earth and environment sector within the GTA.
  • Proven business development skills, including experience building and maintaining productive relationships with a client base.
  • Experience in strategic planning, team management, quality and budget control.
  • Leadership skills and ability to develop and mobilize a team.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communications in English.
