About us
Elevate Service Group is building Canada's leading integrated facilities management and essential commercial services platform. Through six operating companies — Infinity Group Construction, First Choice Maintenance, Charged Electric Services, Think Green Solutions, JJ&A Mechanical, and TFI Food Equipment Solutions — Elevate delivers electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC, lighting and energy solutions, grease trap and drain care, general repair and maintenance, renovations and build-outs, preventive maintenance, capital asset management, and foodservice equipment service to multi-location customers across the country.
The platform has scaled to approximately $90 million in pro forma annualized revenue with an in-house technician base of 130-plus and continues to add capability through disciplined acquisition.
The commercial thesis is straightforward. Most facility owners and operators manage dozens of vendors across trades, banners and regions — with inconsistent service, no portfolio-level visibility, and administrative cost buried in every invoice. Elevate consolidates that spend under one accountable provider, one point of contact, and one technology, analytics and dispatch platform.
That thesis only becomes revenue if someone sells it. That is this role.
About the role
At TFI Food Equipment Solutions, delivering an exceptional customer experience starts with getting the details right. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating field service requests, scheduling technicians, and ensuring customers receive timely, reliable, and professional service.
Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, you will manage daily scheduling and dispatch activities, balancing customer priorities, technician availability, technical requirements, parts availability, and service-level commitments. You will serve as a key connection point between customers, field technicians, Customer Care, Technical Support, Parts, and internal operations.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You take ownership of your work, anticipate potential issues, and understand that keeping customers informed is just as important as getting the right technician to the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate Daily Dispatch: Schedule and dispatch service requests based on priority, technician availability, geographic location, skill requirements, and customer commitments.
Verify Parts and Inventory Availability: Check inventory and parts availability for incoming service requests to help ensure the required parts are available before scheduling a technician. Coordinate with the Parts team to confirm availability, identify shortages, and follow up on outstanding orders. Proactively communicate potential parts-related delays and adjust scheduling as needed to minimize repeat visits and avoidable service disruptions.
Deliver Exceptional Customer Communication: Proactively communicate appointment details, scheduling changes, delays, and service updates, ensuring customers receive clear, timely, and accurate information.
Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure work orders, technician assignments, appointment details, priorities, parts information, and service notes are complete and accurate within the field service management system.
Monitor Open Requests: Track outstanding work orders, identify potential delays, and follow up on unresolved items to ensure requests continue progressing toward resolution.
Manage Scheduling Challenges: Identify and escalate issues such as parts delays, technician availability, technical skill gaps, customer access issues, and urgent service requirements.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with field technicians, Customer Care, Technical Support, Parts, and Operations to coordinate service delivery and resolve scheduling challenges.
Support Service-Level Targets: Prioritize work appropriately, recognize time-sensitive requests, and help ensure service commitments are met.
Follow Established Processes: Adhere to dispatch procedures, escalation guidelines, and system workflows while maintaining accurate and timely work order updates.
Identify Improvement Opportunities: Recognize recurring issues and process gaps, sharing recommendations that improve dispatch efficiency and the overall customer experience.

A consistent focus on customer satisfaction, service reliability, and operational efficiency.
What you bring
2+ years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or field service coordination.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage customer expectations professionally and empathetically.
A strong customer-first mindset and a commitment to delivering a positive service experience.
The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the confidence to escalate issues when needed.
A proactive approach to ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
Comfort working with computer systems and multiple applications; experience with field service management, scheduling, or inventory systems is an asset.
A collaborative attitude and the ability to build effective relationships with customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders.
