HVAC Service Technician

Service Technician: HVAC Service Technician (Must be available to work afternoon and weekend shift)

Responsibilities:

• Complete all service work as assigned on HVAC and boiler equipment.
• Assist where needed in other areas of the Operations department as needed.
• Accountable for the delivery of high customer service excellence levels.
• Sustain high customer satisfaction levels in our Home Services Operations group.
• Compelete in an effective and efficient manner all service duties up to company standards and in keeping with our value proposition.
• Assuring that all tools and equipment used will be in good and safe working order.
• Keep vehicle clean and neat both inside & out in.
• Maintain the company's professional image.
• Keep the vehicle stocked with all material necessary to perform daily duties as well as documenting Vehicle Inspection Sheets daily.
• Promoting products and services.
• Act as an ambassador to the company providing best advice to customers on repairing or replacing existing equipment.
• A key customer interface and revenue generator for the business.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Gas Fitter 2 or Gas Fitter 1 license.
• Must have a valid 313D or 313A air conditioning or refrigeration license.
• Must have a valid Ontario driver's license with clean driver's abstract maintained.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years recent relevant HVAC industry field experience.
• You must be in good physical condition for lifting requirements and bending purposes.
• Must have the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment related to maintaining HVAC equipment.
• Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting and work in awkward positions and tight areas.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• You must demonstrate proven commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.

You must have excellent written and verbal communications and exceptional interpersonal skills.

You would be required to work with minimal supervision.
