As our HVAC Service Supervisor, you'll be the hands-on technical leader helping our technicians deliver exceptional work on every job. You'll spend your time in the field coaching technicians, troubleshooting complex issues, identifying quality concerns, and helping prevent callbacks before they happen.This position is designed for someone who leads by example. Your technical experience and presence on job sites will help strengthen workmanship, improve consistency, and give technicians the support they need to succeed. You'll also serve as an important connection between our field technicians and office teams, helping ensure projects stay organized and customers receive the level of service Welldone is known for.Position: Commercial HVAC Service Supervisor Pay: $48.00-$65.00 per hour, depending on experience Work Hours: Full-time | Monday through Friday Relocation: Assistance options and temporary housing availableBenefitsMedical and dental insurance with 100% employer-paid premiumsLife insuranceCritical illness coveragePaid vacation11 paid holidaysRRSP with company matchingCompany phone plan or partial reimbursement for your personal phonePerks:Take-home company service truck and gas cardYear-round work with a stable, growing local companyA meaningful leadership role where your field observations influence training and service standardsOpportunities for advancement and professional developmentCompany-paid education and industry trainingTeam events and activitiesA positive workplace built around continuous improvementA strong commitment to professionalism, quality, and doing the job rightKey Responsibilities:Provide hands-on leadership in the field through job-site visits, technical support, and troubleshooting with technicians.Lead quality-control efforts by completing job inspections, quality audits, and post-completion reviews for service and preventive maintenance work.Review BuildOps service documentation to ensure reports are accurate, complete, and professional.Coach technicians on technical performance, workmanship, efficiency, documentation, and customer service.Identify potential problems early and provide practical feedback that helps prevent callbacks and repeat service issues.Monitor callbacks, warranty work, and recurring problems to uncover training opportunities and process improvements.Improve communication and coordination between dispatch, service coordination, and project teams.Assist customers when technical expertise or additional quality oversight is required, focusing on finding the root cause and achieving a lasting solution.Reinforce safe work practices, PPE requirements, and applicable codes and regulations.Communicate field observations and recommendations to the Service Manager to support technician development and department-wide improvement.Participate in weekly service meetings and contribute ideas that improve field performance.Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience in a service or technical environment, with HVAC industry experience required.Journeyperson certification in a related trade is an asset; Red Seal certification is welcome.Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities with commercial mechanical systems.Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop other technicians.Strong written and verbal communication skills with both customers and coworkers.Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP platforms.
