This hands-on role is focused on improving service quality, supporting technicians in the field, and ensuring every job meets our high standards for workmanship and customer service.Position Overview: The Service Supervisor plays a key role in quality control by helping reduce callbacks, improving preventive maintenance performance, and coaching technicians to deliver consistent, professional results. Success in this position comes from being present in the field, providing technical expertise, and helping the team perform at its best.BenefitsEmployer-paid medical and dental coverage (100% of premiums)Life insuranceCritical illness insurancePaid vacation11 paid holidaysRRSP matching programCompany phoneVehicle allowanceKey Responsibilities:Provide hands-on leadership by regularly visiting job sites and supporting technicians in the field.Assist with technical troubleshooting, job preparation, and day-to-day problem solving.Coach technicians on workmanship, efficiency, documentation, professionalism, and customer communication.Monitor quality standards and communicate performance concerns to the Service Manager when appropriate.Conduct job site inspections, quality audits, and post-completion reviews for preventive maintenance and service work.Review service reports, including BuildOps documentation, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and professionalism.Identify recurring workmanship issues, training needs, and process improvements that reduce rework and callbacks.Deliver immediate coaching and corrective feedback to improve performance and prevent repeat issues.Track warranty work, callback trends, and recurring service concerns.Participate in team meetings and support initiatives that improve service consistency and operational performance.Assist with project coordination when additional field oversight helps achieve quality and customer satisfaction goals.Qualifications:Minimum of five years of experience in a service or technical environment.Previous HVAC industry experience is required.Journeyman certification in a related trade is considered an asset.Strong diagnostic and technical troubleshooting skills.Proven leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP software; BuildOps experience is an advantage.Comfortable learning new technology and following established processes.Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement, team development, and delivering exceptional service.Welldone Mechanical Services is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
