We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Controller to join a growing, operationally focused organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and delivering accurate, timely, financial statements in support of sound business decision-making and sustainable growth.
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Controller will lead the accounting function and oversee a team of four direct reports. This role will work closely with the broader leadership team and act as a key financial partner to operations, driving insight, accountability, and performance across the business.
What you'll do:
  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and working capital management
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and parent company reporting requirements
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and support internal/external audit processes
  • Oversee AR and collections processes to ensure effective working capital management
  • Manage capital expenditure processes (AFE), including financial analysis and post-approval tracking
  • Support tax compliance activities in collaboration with corporate tax and external advisors
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance and accounting function
  • Support ERP and financial systems initiatives, including enhancements and implementation projects
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support data-driven decision-making across the organization
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
  • Experience with ERP systems strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
  • Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements, forecasts, and variance reports
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and drive process improvements
  • Audit experience considered an asset
