What you'll do:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
- Oversee inventory accounting, physical inventory counts, and internal controls.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, tax compliance, payroll oversight, and insurance programs.
- Coordinate external review engagements, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic planning, budgeting, and business performance initiatives.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and technology enhancements across finance and operations.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and controls that protect company assets and support continued growth.
- CPA designation required.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within a retail, distribution, or multi-location environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, inventory management, and internal controls.
- Experience with Microsoft ERP systems considered an asset
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
