About The Role:
As an Account Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in acquiring new charity partners and expanding our revenue. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop sales skills in a dynamic environment. If you have sales experience or come from a recruitment background looking to transition into tech sales, and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
The hourly rate for this position is between $25-$27 per hour depending on experience, and is based on a 37.5 hour per week schedule. This is a contract position for a period of 6 months with ability to extend or convert to full-time. This position is remotebut will require to be in-office in Toronto on a monthly basis.
What youll do: (Primary Responsibilities)
- Working with our Account Development Lead, conduct outbound calls/meetings to determine the best course of action for partners, leading them to next steps, whether thats our Custom Donation Forms, P2P, Events, or CanadaHelps Ensemble tool.
- On a daily basis, reaching out by phone to as many charities as you can, meeting them where they are at, and helping them on their digital journey, focusing on our newest tool, CanadaHelps Ensemble.
- Listening, asking questions, and sometimes challenging charity partners in order to support them in upping their digital and fundraising game.
- Uncovering and recording key pieces of information in order to identify how we may best serve partner charities.
- Prospecting to identify ideal partners for CanadaHelps various products and services
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of CanadaHelps products and services.
- Keeping all records of activity logged in CRM - if it isnt logged, it didnt happen.
- On average; make about 45 calls a day to partner and non-partner charities to sell our custom donation forms and register charities with the CanadaHelps platform.
- Respond in a timely manner to emails from charities.
- Prospecting and updating all records in the CRM to identify partners to register with CanadaHelps and use our custom donation forms.
- Be an excellent team member and contribute to the Accounts Development team through constant engagement, questioning and ideation.
