Primary Responsibilities Outside Sales Representative: Prospecting and Networking: Identify and target potential customers through networking events, industry conferences, and cold calling to expand the customer base. Face-to-Face Meetings: Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with potential and existing customers to understand their needs, present product demonstrations, and negotiate deals. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with customers by providing personalized attention, addressing their concerns, and offering solutions that meet their business objectives. Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence by staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for business growth. Travel: Travel to customer sites, attend meetings and training, and participate in events within the assigned territory to maintain a visible presence and develop rapport with customers. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity summaries, to track progress towards targets and provide insights to management. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale with customers to secure profitable deals while maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additional Responsibilities Lead Generation: Use various methods such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to generate leads and identify potential customers.
