Due to ongoing growth, we require a Mechanical Designer/Drafter.
Position: Mechanical Designer for a Variety of ProjectsQualifications:

• MUST HAVE Drafting and detailing of truck chassis and various mechanical and sheet metal components.
• MUST KNOW about design, manufacturing principles, and machine shop practices.
• MUST HAVE a mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
• MUST HAVE Ability to use measuring tools and gauges.
• MUST HAVE Knowledge of general dimensioning and tolerancing practices.
• MUST HAVE attention to detail.

Specific job duties:

• Create CAD models (on-shape) and drawings from sketches, physical samples, or verbal instructions.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Familiarity with On-shape.
• Go out onto the shop floor when needed.
• 3 PLUS years of experience working in the field. SCHOOL PROJECTS DO NOT COUNT

Education:

• Post-secondary education in mechanical technology.
• or mechanical engineering.
