Job Details:
The Community Health Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in promoting and protecting the health of populations by delivering care, education, and advocacy in community settings. This role focuses on disease prevention, health promotion, and improving access to healthcare services, especially for underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct health assessments and screenings in community settings.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for individuals and families.
- Provide direct nursing care in homes, schools, shelters, and clinics.
- Administer immunizations and medications.
- Educate community members on preventive care, nutrition, hygiene, and chronic disease management.
- Facilitate health-related workshops and seminars.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organizations.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
- Respond to public health emergencies and provide crisis intervention.
- Advocate for health policies and improved access to healthcare services.
- Required:
- Active RN license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community or public health nursing

Pay Rate:$50-55CAD/hr
Schedule: Rotation, Day, Night (8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.)
