Senior Architect Industrial Buildings
Location: Toronto or Kitchener, ON
Hybrid/Flexible. 3-4 days in office
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Architect with deep experience in industrial building design and project delivery to join a dynamic and growing architecture and engineering practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial typologies including manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and processing facilities and bring a proven track record of managing teams, projects, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of industrial projects from concept through to completion.
Manage and mentor a team of architects and technologists, including project staffing and resource allocation.
Oversee project documentation, schedules, budgets, and coordination with consultants and clients.
Contribute to RFP and proposal submissions, ensuring competitive, high-quality responses.
Participate in business development efforts and client engagement initiatives to support firm growth.
Ensure design excellence, technical accuracy, and adherence to building codes, standards, and sustainability practices.
Qualifications
Licensed Architect (OAA) or eligibility for registration in Ontario.
10+ years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a focus on industrial or large-scale commercial projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience leading project teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
Proficiency with Revit and familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.
Demonstrated success in preparing RFPs, proposals, and business development presentations.
