Senior Business Systems Analyst

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders from various lines of business, analyzing and documenting complex business problems requiring solutions. Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to identify and analyze complex business problems, understand requirements and business processes (current state AS-IS and future state TO BE)
• Produce Business Requirements Documents capturing information gathered from stakeholders
• Collaborate with and present requirements documents to IT Architects & obtain approval from all stakeholders
• Create test plans for review and approval by stakeholders
• Prepare test scenarios and cases for user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing, manage defects and obtain UAT signoff
• Produce documentation for transition to support at the end of the project warranty support period
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other analysts to develop their skills and ensure consistent quality of work
• Ensure compliance with organization policies and procedures, including IT security and governance
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in business analysis and IT, and recommend changes to improve processes and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
• 5 years experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related field
• Strong understanding of business processes, information systems and software development methodologies
• CBAP certification preferred
