Our client is seeking a highly skilled Millwright to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. You'll work closely with team members to meet departmental goals and uphold SOPs and regulatory standards.

Compensation: $40.50/hour (unlicensed) to $50.50/hour (licensed)

Work Schedule: Day or Night (includes $2.00/hour night premium)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including LOTO procedures.
  • Assemble and install equipment using hand/power tools.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Inspect equipment to identify irregularities and perform corrective actions.
  • Operate lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment to fabricate parts.
  • Complete work orders by preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
  • Support production teams during runtime to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and power transmission systems.
  • Read equipment manuals and blueprints to perform installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Availability for weekends and overtime.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ticketed or Apprenticeship Level (3-4) in the Millwright trade.
  • Skilled in lathes, milling machines, and welding (ARC, TIG, MIG)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in high-speed manufacturing (food industry preferred)

Preferred Assets:

  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Electrical knowledge.
