Studio Operator / Production Specialist – Oshawa, Canada Wanted: dynamic and creative individuals ready to connect with a like-minded team. - Work with stakeholders and strategic Corporate partners in the production of both ‘on-site' and ‘off-site' productions/events (i.e. Executive Announcements, Town Halls, ENG video shoots)
- Coordinate and assist with the technical production of studio productions, including the set-up of cameras, audio equipment, teleprompter, lighting and video equipment for each event.
- Assist with the development and production of both on-site and off-site productions/events as assigned
- Assure all video production elements (i.e. video assets) adhere to current policies / procedures, and provide support and direction on the technical aspects of studio production and equipment
- Conduct regular maintenance of studio equipment and troubleshoot equipment problems that arise prior or during production.
- Operate and use the Virtual Training system, monitor and capture all necessary information that pertains to these events
- Work directly with GM Canada executives to deliver confidential and time-sensitive information
- This is an onsite job and requires reporting to the client office 5 days a week
- This position is located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
- 2+ years Video Production Experience with live and recorded in a Corporate (or similar) studio environment, utilizing Studio equipment (i.e. video switchers, audio mixers cameras, teleprompter operations, lighting setup/greenscreen, etc.)
- Videography skill set desirable
- Bilingual (French) desirable
- Video editing experience desirable
- Experience with scheduling, coordination, or administrative role — ideally within a creative studio, production house, or media environment desirable
- Bachelor's degree or College Diploma/Certificate, in Communications, Media Production, Business Administration, or a related field
