Machinists

Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.Position: Machinists.Location: Orillia, ON. Pay Rate: $33 per hour.Industry: Manufacturing/Production/Foundry/Industrial.Employment Term: Fulltime/Permanent.Shift: Rotating Shift; Day, Evening and Overnight on a two-week rotation. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate all manual machines as per company SOP.
• Operate machines to meet required tolerances and meet product specifications and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve all machining issues, as incurred.
• Maintain safety as priority.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Machinist Apprenticeship Certification is preferred, Red Seal consider an asset.
• 4 years related Machinists experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing / fabrication environment.
• Proficient in the use of common precision measuring tools – Vernier, micrometer bore gauges etc.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Able to work a 3-shift rotation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
