Covanta Environmental Solutions (CES) offers a turnkey solution to various industries for the management of residual waste materials. CES simplifies the management of hazardous materials, solid or liquid finished products, recyclable materials, and controlled substances in a responsible, environmentally friendly, and safe manner.
A Vehicle Operator performs duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Covanta facilities, third-party facilities, and the Client's sites. Vehicle Operators will have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and tractors. Our operators are expected to be professional and safety-minded individuals who interact with customers and colleagues on a regular basis. We believe in family and lives outside of work. As such, the need for overnight trips is very rare.
Responsibilities include:
- Safety is the number one goal of all CES employees. Drivers must operate equipment in a safe manner following DOT and company policies/regulations.
- Driving commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
