Your Role (AKA: Everyday Hero Duties)

As a Para Transit Driver, you're the friendly face behind the wheel, making sure seniors and individuals with disabilities can get to medical appointments, groceries, social outings, basically all the important stuff.

• You'll provide safe, smooth, and respectful transportation like the legend you are
• You'll help passengers with care, compassion, and the occasional witty joke
• You'll perform quick vehicle checks each shift (tires, brakes, lights, snacks… okay, not snacks)
• You'll earn $19.21/hour while doing something that truly matters

You Might Be the Perfect Fit If You...

• Have a valid Ontario G licence - (F licence = bonus points. No F yet? We'll help!)
• Have a clean driving record - and are proud of it
• Can pass a criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
• Are cool with service animals - because they're literally working harder than all of us
• Speak English confidently - (B2–C1 level – we'll assess, no pop quizzes, promise)
• Know your way around St. Thomas - like a local GPS
• Can handle physically demanding work - wheelchairs, ramps, and a bit of squatting and twisting (call it your daily workout)
• Are available for part-time shifts - between 5am and midnight, 7 days a week (you don't have to work all of those, don't worry)
