The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Safety Watch / Fire Watch Attendants to join our team for an upcoming project in the Peace Region. This role plays a critical part in supporting a safe work environment by monitoring for fire hazards and ensuring hot work protocols are followed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintain constant visual coverage of hot work areas to detect signs of fire, smoke, or unsafe conditions
• Ensure the safety of all workers in the vicinity of hot work activities
• Enforce client and company safety procedures and protocols
• Know the location and usage of emergency equipment including fire extinguishers, eye-wash stations, and safety showers
• React immediately and appropriately in case of emergencies
• Maintain a visible, proactive safety presence at all times

What You Bring

• Fire Watch Certification
• High attention to detail and ability to remain alert and focused for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions on an active industrial site

Physical Requirements

• Capable of standing, walking, bending, crouching, and performing physically active tasks for 10 hours/day
• Must be mentally and physically fit to work in a demanding industrial environment
