Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of home renovation and construction processes. As a Lead Hand, you will oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management and ability to supervise a team will be crucial in driving project success.

At The Renovation King, we expect multi year experience in exterior home renovation (siding, soffit, facia, eavestrough, windows, doors, roofing, and metal roofing.) Experience with interior renovations are a plus. (Drywall, painting, mud and tape, flooring, and trim.)

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers on-site.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures throughout the project.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide work processes.
• Train and mentor team members in best practices for construction techniques and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors regarding progress and any issues that arise.
• Daily reporting for project progress.
• Material verification.
• Meet and exceed deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Drivers license.
