Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Hours of Operation: 1:00pm – 9:00pm EST
*Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 CAD hourly
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator, Editorial will support our Editorial Rentals Department. They bring to the role excellent communication, interpersonal, and strong problem-solving skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and excellent customer service are essential attributes for this role.
MAIN DUTIES:
The Coordinator, Editorial will support the department Manager and Associate Producer is fulfilling requests from editorial teams regarding their Avid edit systems working in facility, remotely, or at another location. They will communicate with clients directly to provide customer support and client services, assist with room set-ups which may include but not be limited to moving furniture, moving equipment, assisting engineering team, and assist team with tracking approved projects and details of client requests for both hardware and software. They will also be responsible for the following:
  • Assist in tracking scheduling of resources and deployment of inventory.
  • Assist with billing, work order creation and requesting purchase orders from clients
  • Continually identify ways to streamline processes and to innovate and adapt our services to our clients' needs
  • Provide support to the client services staff as needed.
  • Work with the security team to ensure company policies and best practices are maintained

WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will have prior working experience in a client facing Post Production environment. They must have exceptional customer service skills, and have the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities under tight deadlines. They must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to work effectively both unsupervised and collaboratively with internal departments. Additional desired skills include:
  • Knowledge of Xytech MediaPulse or other Post Production scheduling software an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to learn and process information quickly.
  • Possess solid keyboarding skills and a good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Sharepoint, OneDrive)
  • Able to work alternative times and weekends when required.
  • This position is eligible for overtime.
