Objective:
Operating out of our Scarborough, ON location and reporting to the Product & Process Supervisor the primary responsibility of this position is to assist with all aspects of scanning and indexing of invoices and delivery documents for shipping; and all other related administrative tasks.
Hours: 40 hours/week. Shifts go from 10:00AM-8:30PM Monday-Thursday.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Sort and check invoices
- Scan, email and package delivery documents for shipment
- Perform data entry into spreadsheets in various operating systems
- Report any discrepancies in documents to Supervisor
- Typing, filing, scanning and photocopying documents
- Other duties as required
Safety Requirements:
- Safety boots required without exception
- Lifting requirements: 30+ lbs consistently
- Use materials handling equipment (carts, pushers)
Skill / Knowledge Requirements:
- High school graduate
- Computer literate, experience working in Google drive and Excel
- Fast and accurate typing capabilities
- Experience in an administrative role an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a "can do" approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently, while still demonstrating team spirit and willingness to assist other team members
