Objective:

Operating out of our Scarborough, ON location and reporting to the Product & Process Supervisor the primary responsibility of this position is to assist with all aspects of scanning and indexing of invoices and delivery documents for shipping; and all other related administrative tasks.

Hours: 40 hours/week. Shifts go from 10:00AM-8:30PM Monday-Thursday.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Sort and check invoices
  • Scan, email and package delivery documents for shipment
  • Perform data entry into spreadsheets in various operating systems
  • Report any discrepancies in documents to Supervisor
  • Typing, filing, scanning and photocopying documents
  • Other duties as required

Safety Requirements:

  • Safety boots required without exception
  • Lifting requirements: 30+ lbs consistently
  • Use materials handling equipment (carts, pushers)

Skill / Knowledge Requirements:

  • High school graduate
  • Computer literate, experience working in Google drive and Excel
  • Fast and accurate typing capabilities
  • Experience in an administrative role an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with a "can do" approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently, while still demonstrating team spirit and willingness to assist other team members
