About the Job

As an Onboarding Specialist I, youll play a critical role in creating an exceptional first impression for our new Channel Partners. Your mission is to drive early product adoption and ensure Partners are equipped for long-term success. This role is all about guiding new Partners through their first touchpointsproviding hands-on support, leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, and ensuring a smooth transition into their customer journey. Youll use standardized workflows and implementation packages to help partners ramp up quickly and effectively.

Your Impact

As an Onboarding Specialist I, you'll work closely with Channel Partners, the Onboarding team, and Customer Success to:

  • Deliver engaging one-on-one and group onboarding sessions to walk Partners through Vendastas platform.
  • Provide product walkthroughs, implementation guidance, and setup support while ensuring Partners know how to access help and resources.
  • Use structured onboarding workflows to document Partner needs and support seamless implementation.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and send timely follow-ups using AI tools, templates, and approved prompts.
  • Escalate complex or technical issues to relevant teams and identify early signals of risk or friction in onboarding.
  • Foster positive Partner relationships that support long-term retention by demonstrating responsiveness, deep platform knowledge, and alignment with their business goals.
  • Ensure Partners are ready for a successful transition to the Customer Success team by confirming setup completion and engagement milestones.

What You Bring to the Table

You bring 12 years of experience in customer onboarding, support, or trainingideally in a SaaS or digital platform environment. You have a strong grasp of customer success best practices and are skilled at communicating clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. You're comfortable guiding customers through new processes and thrive on making the complex feel simple and approachable.

You are organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple onboarding tasks and timelines with accuracy and care. Youre experienced with CRM and digital collaboration tools like Zoom, Google Workspace, and HubSpot, and you have a demonstrated ability to follow structured workflows while adapting to changing partner needs. Ideally, youve had some exposure to AI tools, such as chat-based assistants, automated responses, or templated workflows, and are comfortable using them with guidance. Above all, youre collaborative, coachable, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team. A degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
