Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Receiver/Warehouse Associate who is responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments, ensuring that products are accurately uploaded in the ERP and WMS systems, and efficiently stored in the appropriate locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with RF scanners, be detail-oriented, and be capable of maintaining a well-organized warehouse. Additional responsibilities include Order picking and processing, handling returns, replenishing stock, and conducting inventory cycle counts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive shipments accurately and promptly as they arrive at the warehouse.
- Use computer systems and RF scanners to process and receive products in the ERP and WMS systems.
- Ensure products are stored neatly in designated locations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Handle returns and ensure that they are processed in a timely manner.
- Perform stock replenishments as needed to ensure inventory availability.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the overall orderliness of the warehouse.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Drive the forklift to unload shipments and transport inventory through the warehouse
- Unpack, inspect, sort, and route goods to the appropriate storage areas
- Organize stock and maintain inventories
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using an RF scanner
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in warehouse receiving or a related role.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Experience using RF Smart Scanners and NetSuite software (an asset)
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Forklift license (a large asset)
- Must have safety shoes
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills; punctual and reliable
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills (both oral & written)
- Experience in Fluid Power/Industrial Distribution (an asset)
