Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic finance professional to join our manufacturing team in a role that combines traditional financial analysis with innovative automation projects. This position offers significant growth potential for someone ready to make a real impact in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Initial Responsibilities:
- Execute month-end close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Analyze manufacturing cost variances and prepare detailed reports
- Support plant P&L analysis and volume scenario modeling
- Collaborate with operations teams on labor planning and efficiency initiatives
- Lead automation initiatives to streamline manual reporting processes
- Develop interactive dashboards and analytical tools using Power BI or similar platforms
- Drive process improvements across finance and operations
- Build strong relationships with plant floor teams and management
The Ideal Candidate Has
Essential Experience:
- 1-2 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience
- Hands-on experience building reports, dashboards, or automation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Understanding of plant P&Ls, absorption costing, and manufacturing variances
- Experience with labor planning and operational metrics
- Advanced Excel capabilities
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools
- Manufacturing ERP systems experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High energy and enthusiasm for finance transformation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence operations teams
- Comfortable working in manufacturing environments
- Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills
- Willingness to tackle foundational work while driving innovation
What Makes This Role Special

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
- Annual Bonus: 7% target bonus based on performance
- Vacation: 3 weeks paid time off
