SIEL Human Solutions is a HR Consulting firm offering strategic customized end to end solutions.

Our company is seeking a Part Time Healthcare Recruiter. This can be a contract or permanent position.

Reporting to the CEO, the Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for providing support to our clients throughout Saskatchewan, however, the incumbent will be required to work both remote and on-site with our clients in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In this role, you will work with both staff and management in the areas of onboarding and talent acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the management team by assisting with the development of HR initiatives that will ensure strategic growth and development in the areas of onboarding and orientation, talent acquisition and performance management.
  • Coordinate and assist with ongoing performance management and employee relations with staff and managers.
  • Full cycle recruitment that includes the drafting of job postings, reviewing of resumes, sourcing for passive candidates, completing pre-screen interviews, references and the negotiating of employment offers for successful candidates.
  • Collaborate with the Workforce Talent Consultant to develop and execute a solid recruitment strategy.
  • Facilitate the process to post job vacancies on different online platforms.
  • Lead the interview process with the client to efficiently an effectively to fill open positions across the province.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates for both regulated and unregulated health care professionals and administrative roles.
  • Source for passive candidates through local contacts, associations, conferences, educational institutions and social media.
  • Represent both SIEL Human Solutions and the client at external recruitment events in a positive and professional manner.
  • Responsible for new hire administration and orientation in alignment with recruitment priorities.
  • Monitor data in relation to talent acquisition and incorporate this into the recruitment and retention strategy.
  • Ensure all HR best practices are adhered to, and strong internal controls are applied to preserve confidentiality and discretion as expected.
  • Liaise with managers and employees across the organization to help build strong relationships and trust with the HR team.
  • Additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education in Human Resource Management from an accredited Canadian university.
  • HR certification is an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources and or a similar role.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector
  • Ability to work onsite and remote
  • Knowledge of HR policies/procedures related to recruitment and selection; compensation and performance management; and onboarding.
  • Proven success in delivering strategic talent acquisition strategies
  • Deep knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism.
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly professional and able to represent SIEL Human Solutions internally and externally to the organization.
  • Ability to work with private and confidential documents.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lead initiatives and projects.
