Finance Manager

Position Overview:

Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Permanent Recruitment, has partnered with our client in the search for a Finance Manager. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager will oversee financial management, ensure efficient financial processes, strategic planning, and contribute to achieving the company's growth goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of accounting such as AP, AR, and financial reporting in an efficient and effective manner

• Lead, guide, and evaluate the Accounting department with effective management and mentoring skills.

• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, and set strategic objectives

• Oversee completion of all daily accounting tasks and regulatory reporting

• Collaborate with both internal team members and external accountants to compile year-end working papers and review engagement schedules.

• Internal financial statement preparation along with preparation of other financial reports including consolidations

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of policies, processes, and procedures to identify areas for improvement

• Other financial and operational reports as required
  

Requirements:

• A Canadian professional Accounting Designation CPA (CA, CGA, CMA)

• Proficient in technology, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems and integrations.

• Demonstrated strong leadership abilities

• Excellent communication skills

Rewards:
